Most of the band members came together in 2004 through Axe Music's (Edmonton)
Weekend Warrior program. For a period of ten weeks, individual musicians wanting
a band experience were thrown together to develop a 5 or 6 song set that was showcased
at a local nightclub. |
 |
Angus McNainy is our lead guitarist. Some of you may remember Angus' dad,
Tom, who played in and around Edmonton for many years with "Busted Flat",
and taught his son well. |
 |
Bob Smits is on rhythm guitar.
Bob not only plays the music -- he's lived it all. Bob played bass for several local bands in the 60s. |
 |
Mike Nason is our lead vocalist.
A few of us sing back-up harmonies behind Mike's melody, but none of us has a set of pipes like Mike's. |
 |
Darren MacFadyen, our newest
addition on bass, brings a sense of humour, some big ears and a laid back attitude. |
 |
Bruce Armstrong, our drummer
extraordinaire, keeps us on time, in tune and generally in line. His good looks are rivalled only by his sense of humour. |
