Halloween 2008 - JRs Halloween gig
Had a blast!! Thanks to all who came out and partook in the
festivities, and those who took the time to get dressed up also! Check out some of the
photos here...
October 2008 - The band bucks up for a real website!!
But you already know that if you're reading this...'cause
this item won't be on the old website :P
September 2008 - Chuckfest IV
Rather than try and outguess Mother Nature, Chuck and Jeanette said
to hell with it and picked a day. The weather was great as were the festivities, as usual!!
Check out some of the photos here...
July 2008 - New bestest gig ever(?)!!
Mark and Laureen's cabin party out at Lake Nakamun!! While the trip
out was scenic...thanks Corina ;) the party was worth the effort it took to get there.
Although our regular front guy couldn't make it, we enlisted the help of another Mike to
handle the vocal duties. And he blows a Johnson...I mean he works that thing over like a...
uh, before you get all homophobic, Johnson is a brand of harmonica, you perv's...
April 2008 - Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom
OLPH Cougars...'nuff said, Marlin. Giggity goo...
October 2007 - The band records a 3 song demo
With gigs settling down, we decided to step up our marketing
efforts. We recorded a 3 song demo at Mac Alley Studios
to include in a media package we are putting together.
Later this month, we'll be performing at the Edmonton Blues Society's monthly event. Come out
and support local talent and the Edmonton Blues Society.
August 2007 - And the next best gig ever(?)
Another gig that was 'up there' on the old 'up there' scale, rivalling
Chuckfest for crowd energy and pure enjoyment. Out in the intimate Graminia Hall, people were
dancin' and underwear was flying in honour of the birthday boy. Even Marilyn Monroe made a
guest appearance to sing Happy Birthday!!!
June 2007 - Chuckfest III
For the third year, we were invited to perform at Chuckfest. The weather
misbehaved, but the folks who showed up seemed to have a great time. We sure did!! We decided
to 'kick out the jams' and try a few tunes that we never really practiced together. We had a
great time and are already looking foward to Chuckfest IV. If you know Chuck, get in on the
hottest ticket in Strathcona County!!
October 2006 - Darren joins the band
Hot on the heels of Marian's departure, Darren has come aboard as our
new bass player, with his former band on a pseudo-hiatus. Darren brings a sense of humour,
some big ears and a laid back 'tude...
September 2006 - Marian leaves the band
Our 'new' bass player, Marian, announces her departure from the band. Her
growth as a player was only exceeded by her determination. Good luck in your musical future
Marian!!
May 2006 - Carole leaves the band
It is with sadness that our keyboard player, Carole, announces her
departure from the band. Her farewell performance will be at the Scout Silent Auction &
Fundraiser on May 27, 2006. Carole was, by far, the most 'qualified' musician in the band.
We will miss her knowledge, sense of humour and her smile. Good luck in the future Carole!!
December 2005 - Annette leaves the band
Our talented backup (and sometimes lead) singer, Annette, announces she
is leaving the band. Trying to balance a new job, a wonderful husband and family and a new big
screen TV has proven a little much and the band is the casualty. We wish Annette the best of
luck with her juggling act and will miss her cheery personality and her awesome singing talent.
October 2005 - Marian joins the band
Hot on the heels of Hal's departure, Marian has come aboard as our new
bass player. Marian is a "graduate" of the Weekend Warrior program and had expressed
interest in playing with our band, had an "opportunity" arisen. Lucky for her (and us)...
August 2005 - Hal leaves the band
Our bass player, Hal, has announced his departure from the band. His
farewell performance will be at Meadowstock IV on October 4, 2005. We will miss his no-bullshit
attitude and frankness. We wish him all the best in his future musical endeavours.
Sometime in 2005 - Indecision it is
After mulling over several options for a band name, we couldn't decide
so we picked Indecision!
May 2005 - Weekend Warriors II
The first real incarnation of Indecision performs a short but sweet
set at Red's in West Edmonton Mall, the orgasmic climax of 9 weeks of practice with Axe's
Weekend Warrior program. Tunes include "Well Respected Man", "Mustang Sally",
"Everytime I See Your Picture", "Hard To Handle", "Feelin' Alright"
and "Hit the Road Jack".
December 2004 - Out of the ashes, a band is born
After graduating from the Weekend Warrior program and a successful,
albeit short, whirlwind tour of West Edmonton Mall (well OK, one 6 song set at Red's, but
you gotta start somewhere), three of our loosely knit group of musicians decide to form
a more permanent band. While the name is yet to be decided (let's see, we we're Four O'Clock
Warriors and The Plague among others), the core group continues on, with additional members
to come (and go). Our Red's set included "The Zoo", "Dream On", "
(Make Me Do) Anything You Want", "Take Me To the River", "Spooky" and
"Mustang Sally".
